warp-ten Newcomer Registered: January 2004	Air filters (oil-based)??? Tue, 13 January 2004 06:17 OK. I might be new to this forum, but I have seen enough to understand that this topic goes round and round till it makes you sick... BUT THIS IS SERIOUS.!! my question to all you is.....Are oil-based filters really a problem with hotwire MAF sensors. I have a 2002 corolla and would like to replace the standard with a K&N panel filter, but have heard some conficting info about doing this on this forum. Please help! Is there anyone out there with some reasonable techncial advise?!? [Report message to a moderator]
