not to sound 'challenging' or anything,
but do you reckon 1400 bux for some rust repair, respray and reskinning a dash is a bit underpriced?
The cheapest respray I've seen possible was about 1.4k for a sprinter. Thats where they don't remove any of the trimmings. Simply sand back, and spray away. You will get a lot of overspray around the window trimmings from this place. Also, they don't do door arches (potentially a lot of rus), under the bonnet, etc.
This doesnt include the cost of rust repair. If they use body filler, its a lot of labour. If they use sheet metal, it's even more. and reskinning a dash costs about $300ish.
overall, I would've expected to pay 2.5k-3k at best for these jobs.
If u know someone who could do it at these prices, could you please pm me their number because one of my car needs a cheap spray job..
