There was a story about the price hikes on the news and they interviewed the ceo (or something) of caltex and all he said was something like "petrol is a profitable business atm" The oil companies dont give a shit cos they know theres nothing that can be done about it. But with that said i do agree with conquest. Where is all the excise money going? ffs i can think of at least 20 or so roads that i regularly use that are in desperate need of repair and thats only a small portion of whats out there.
