thanks for the input, it's great , The engine bay on my liteace is around 73cm from rear bulkhead to radiator, width of engine bay is around 70cm but the engine covers which the seats sit on slope down at the outer edges with a bulge in the centre to clear the engine so not all the width is useable because of height restrictions and lack of access as the engine cover on the RHS is a bolt on affair. The height of my 2y-c from sump to upper engine accessories is around 61cm with very little clearance above that to engine cover. I have learned my 5 speed gearbox is the G53 model so would still like to know what motors this will bolt up to this if anybody knows??
The 2tg head on 4y block is interesting but I read a few posts concerning the T series and apparently its easy even for a toyota expert to get themselves in hot water trying to match up different T series bits, all sorts of tricky custom machining etc.
I didn't see anything specifically about the 2tg head on the 4y block though. Maybe a stock T series would bolt straight in??, I don't think I mentioned I can't afford to spend a fortune on this.....
