Yeah if its private property and not open like a servo it should be fine. For example last year when i was at school one of the year 11s lost the back end on his VL, it spun and hit a tree, the car was a write off. He would have been charged for neg/dangerous driving had it been on a public road, but since it wasn't the police couldn't do anything. However he was banned from driving to school.
