ThatDogsFullySickMate Regular Location: BrisVegas---YeeeHAW Registered: January 2004	Re: 3sge + webbers ---> ta22 Sun, 18 January 2004 04:23 ok i will clear up a few things here i got this motor for free, a mechanic pulled it from a celica he was swapping in a new motor, so it is essentially a short motor with no accessories or efi the plan is to use a twin screw blower, not a turbo, yes i know they are both great in their own special ways but a blower is easier to connect and look after a mate works in an engineering shop, so inlet manifold price will be minimal i have no idea about efi computers in general but do know they cost a lot of money and only professionals can tune them unlike the webbers which i can do myself in my back shed....if i did have the efi i would be halfway there and would consider using it, but i dont and dont wish to jump into the unknown or spend a great deal of money i have a 2tg here thats in need of rebuilding and also the 3sge, im only in the ideas stage at the moment, i like the 3sge idea as it is a lot newer engine and makes more power [Report message to a moderator]
