advantages of apexi S -AFC?

1jz running 14psi, with aftermarket intercooler, 3" exhaust, twin dumps and cold air induction, stock injectors but bigger fuel pump. Is there any need to get a S-AFC to tune the air/fuel ratio or would it be alright running stock computer?
Does anyone know if the S-AFC has any boost cut or speed cut capabilities?
