Jonny,
Just been thru the Aus Spec TA22 parts catalog 
The T, 2T, 2T-B and 2T-G all use the same Fuel pump. Obviously the 2TGEU uses and electric pump to supply the higher pressure.
The T, 2T, 2T-B and 2TG also all use the same Oil pump. not sure on the 2T-GEU but I beleive it is also the same.
As for Differences between the 88260 and the 88261 head. Not sure for certain. I am led to beleive the heads are much the same but I would be betting on them having slightly different Cam profiles. I'll have to check the two here out for any other differences if I get the chance.
I have the 88222 caseing here plus the 88260 and 88261 complete heads. Timing covers have long since gotten mixed up tho 
Oh and not all 88261 headed 2TGEU's had electronic ignition.
