I followed this fairly well, paint stripper didn't damage my MA61 alloys at all. You need to put it on and leave for 5 minutes then scrub it with a tooth brush then hose it off. I found mothers aluminium polish was the best with a cloth bench grinder wheel stuck in a battery drill. Ive done about 10 wheels and they all came up fairly well. You also should paint the not shiny bits with an etch primer then an enamal çolour of your choice.
