for your benefit mate, the 3T is a 1.8 litre version of the 2T (which is a 1.6)
you can use your 2T block for your 2TG but there are a few little differences that need to be taken into account - for example - instead of there being a cam down low in the block a dummy cam is there instead to drive the oil pump and distrbutor - this relies on different bearings that need to be inserted into the 2T block for this to work correctly.
the front timing case is different, no pushrods in the 2TG, but otherwise i understand they're the same... (someone else please correct me if i'm wrong here)
