Ok, so if mine shows a 1, what does this mean? If I touch the probs together, then it shows a 0.00, which is correct. Maybe I'm not getting a good contact in the lead ends? When they aren't touching anything it shows the same, a 1.

Is 4000ohm correct?

And, is it 5 x 20k for the shorter leads and upto 10/15 x 20k for the long lead respectively?

thanks guys, appreciate the help!

ED: Those MSD's expensive? Would they really be worth it on a stocko NA 4 Banga?
