Sat, 24 January 2004 08:44 im using: - 45psi auto-regulated shurflo diaphram pump (2.8 Gal/min i think) - pressure reservoir - 12v inline solenoid valve - and intially one, then perhaps 2 or even 3 individual misting jets. each of these jets will need their own solenid valve to be switched by the rpm kit at the decided stage. the jets themselve have a fixed flow rate for a given psi (in my case 45psi) and several are available covering the flow ranges i need to maintain about 5% water to fuel mix. i can also swap in different sized jets according to how the engine responds. i may require larger or smaller jets at diffent rpm bands alos, so we'll see. ill start with one small one comming on at 3.3k rpm for the duration of the rpm rang, and see what happens im getting these jets: http://www.bete.com/products/pages/pj.htm through these guys: http://www.spraynozzle.com.au/ from what i can tell, these are FAR better than the jets available from erl/aquamist etc (much finer droplet size ~50micron). available in brass or stainless, and are about $30-35 each cheers ed [Report message to a moderator]
