afaik, hylomar is great when you have well fitting machined surfaces, and is used in the aviation industry for this purpose..

i use the red silicon (whtever it's called). withstands the temps, doesn't burn out, and makes it easier to remove the gaskets later Wink have not tried the copper one yet
