oldcorollas Forums Junkie Location: Kita-Ku, Sapporo, Japan Registered: January 2003	Re: which gasket cement to use on manifold Sat, 24 January 2004 11:05 afaik, hylomar is great when you have well fitting machined surfaces, and is used in the aviation industry for this purpose.. i use the red silicon (whtever it's called). withstands the temps, doesn't burn out, and makes it easier to remove the gaskets later have not tried the copper one yet Cya, Stewart [Report message to a moderator]
