A big spanner and lots of elbow grease works for me! Actually there should only be one 12mm bolt per caliper and they're usually pretty easy. You don't have to take the complete caliper assembly off (ie the two 14mm bolts) to get at the pads.
Front brakes "should" be the same as the MA61, but I'm pretty sure the rears are different; MA61's have vented rears while GA61's are solid. Speak to JustCallMeFrank, he should know about this.
I wouldn't waste time with anything less than EBC Greenstuff if you plan to drive the car how it should be driven! I went for a spririted drive in the mountains yesterday in my 400hp MA61 and the brakes worked pretty good even when they got uber-hot. The same car with Bendix pads and a tired 6M ran out of brakes very quickly...
