My GA61 appears to have ventilated rear discs 
If they are the same.. well thats good! Makes life MUCH easier!
I'll take another look at getting the caliper off today, but i'm pretty sure I was going for the right bolts! I've already changed the pads on another car this weekend, an AE92 corolla, that had only one bolt for the caliper. The KE70 corolla I changed the pads on a month or so ago had two bolts per caliper. Oh well, better try again
