Hi PepsiCola,
I've been led to believe that apart from the location of one bolt, the exhaust manifold is identical between the 16V and 20V. But if you plan on upgrading to a 20V later on, the extractors will be the least of your worries..
My advice is that if you are working on any sort of limited budget, then a 16V 4AGE is the way to go. Putting a 20V in a sprinter will almost certainly involve the need for an aftermarket computer, along with all the extra dyno/tuning costs that go along with it. Besides the distributor, there will need to modify the water outlets at the back of the head, as well as ditching the airbox/AFM as well (which means going aftermarket ECU as well).
