Well, if you want to run it in rallies, then I strongly suggest you get a copy of the CAMS manual of motorsport and also join a CAMS affiliated car club in your area. It should have a rally/motorsport coordinator - chat to them and they will point you in the right direction. Pick a class you think you would like to run in, and see what you are allowed to do.
My gut feeling is that you will only be allowed to run the engines that came in that car ie 1G, 5ME, MTE, or 5MGE. The pick of that bunch would be the 5MGE.
