do a google search for "unlock acrobat" or "unlock PDF" - there's a few tools out there that bypass acrobat's standard security - i think one of the ebook readers was hacked to do this very trick.
see if ghostscript (or similar) will re-PDF the doc as an unlocked PDF (e.g. open in viewer - print to postscript from the viewer, use Gscript to save it an a PDF?
same as printing from acrobat to a PDF - but you might get around the 'prevent printing' lock.
note: if it's been locked with acro6 you might face futher hurdles - i've only seen this done with acro5 and lower version files.
if it's got the 128bit key, i wouldn't bother tyring to crack the password - just re-PDF it.
