you are doing the XT130 and hilux conversion aren't you? if so than there is no worries with "modifying" the pads to make them fit. when i used the standard hilux pads from memory all that was required was removal of the stupid disc scraper section. now that i have Mitsubishi GTO pads in there i had to do much more surgery on the bench grinder. remember you are not changing the length of the pad, just allowing some extra backing plate clearance for them to slide right into the caliper. you'll also notice that the amount of pad backing plate you remove is small and that it doesn't even foul as the pads wear, it's only initially when there is lots of pad material...
