How can you stand by this? When its so obviously flawed. I know I attacked it before, but 2 points to consider ? Thats ludicrous. Most informed shoppers would know there is more too it than that - and of those two you featured, '2)' isn't even a necessity.

And what the hell is with all the bloody generalisations? And independent observer might think you two couldn't go a post without one? Such examples as:

IMO it really shows a lack of understanding and general immaturity. Please quote my comment which gives a basis to your statement? I'd be interested to know what the hell your on about. Never quoted my mates as even having an opinion on the Pioneer decks Laughing

."One of the most narrow minded things" you can think of; Is that the capacity of your thinking? Must hard thinking about the openness of a mind that lives within your own mind - coz it couldn't of been mine.

Ahhh...nope, and I didn't even suggest that. But like I've said audio is all about personal preference...so even if the sound engineer working to get what he determines as the best overall sound recorded..Someone will no doubt think otherwise. Therefore we use the EQ to adjust the music to our liking.

The difference the type of music could make to the head unit purchase is in the features.
Customer A listens to a lot of heavy loud beats, techno as its widely known. Their system includes of sub woofers. Now if he/she decides that in any given time, they would like to still listen to the heavy songs without the usual car shaking bass. Then they would want to be able to turn the bass DOWN. A head unit with a feature capable of controlling the Sub woofer amp or just the low freq sent to the subs is what you'd be after.
Does this start to open your eyes ? Now an everyday talk back radio listener really doesn't need this.

I've no doubt that you know alot more about cars, and have seen some intelligent posts to prove this from both of you. But I see no evidence to say the same for your Car Audio smarts...so maybe its best you stick to that in future and not try to put across oodles of intelligence in other hack areas.

Sorry Camry, from this it would appear that you were informing me that there are units without pause but have attn, the use of 'actually' suggests its in contrary to what I have said. Which I didn't. I was never coming out as forceful to suggest that i didn't care what others had to say...simply questioning the substance (usually none given) used to support it. The attacking came from both sides. However I was given more ammunition in their posts so I took it, and fired it back. No point arguing with someone but not playing a full defense.

I never did say that one brand was better than another. Just outlined that you can't actually say one brand is better than another. I jumped in to this so forcefully because someone else did as I previously mentioned. Then followed as someone made ill-thoughtout statements (as I have outlined in bulk of post)How would the statement "Toyota make the best automobiles be regarded" - On somewhere other than this toymods forum Razz
