No I didn't man. But since you really think so I will spell it out for you.

Your point was that there was purely 2 things to look at when buying a head unit. And they were the sound quality and the RCA outputs. Which may seem like a fair point to make. However its way to general and does not account for everyones tastes.

Now, my comments on the sub outs, and some form of sub control for some users being a good idea did not (however I can see how you might of assumed/thought this) prove your point about there being 'purely 2 things' and its quite pathetic that you think it did and proclaim it so profusely. Remember the question you asked "wtf as music preference got to do with deck selection?" Well my statement was an answer to this. It did suggest the user make use of "sub woofer" pre outs. But as you may not know, there are other forms of sub level control, so its no limited to sub woofer pre-outs. So your assumption that a person needs sub pre-outs to control bass in the way I suggested is a little uneducated.
Thus you have taken my answer to the above question and interpreted it to benefit yourself, not realising the exclusive nature of the comments. And while they did suggest something to do with an unrelated statement you made, it was an educated response to your question. And in NO WAY DID IT PROVE YOUR POINT. Some may say it supported the need to check criteria '2' as a necessary criteria to look at when buying a deck, however to do so is very feeble. You forget the question I posed about the need to check for RCAs for a person not running an amp ?
As a clear example of a person in a scenario where your criteria '2' means SFA(sweet f*ck all), and to them features like MP3/WMA or CDTEXT will hold more sway in the selection process (this should simply answer your most previous question - I can go into more detail if your like).
Remember I NEVER suggested that RCA selection was not an issue - just that its not one of the 2 main issues - because with such personal interest present with car audio; to suggest there is only 2 issues is too simple.

So in trying to separate my response:

Do you understand the separation from each other? While they might touch on the same thing, as I said before mine does not support your statement, I am trying to make that clear.
To support your claim I would have to state that their nothing else to consider when buying a head unit other than sound quality and the amount of RCAs present...now in this wording surely you can see the small spectrum you have outlined with quote 'A'. And that a user will have personal tastes that he needs to consider for complete satisfaction. These other tastes will fall into other categories outside the 2 you mentioned. Therefore supporting my statements regarding the nature of your quote 'A' - and its irrelevent status.
