I've recently got the radiator done and everything checked (cost me $300 odd, so i'd bloody well hope there's no problem with the radiator.
I changed the waterpump less than a month ago also.
If the thermostat's not opening properly, it would be heating up AND putting pressure on the pump, hence my dead pump. This is my guess. I'm going to replace the thermostat just to be sure. Toyota ones are only $22. And I'll replace the cap too, although there's nothing wrong with it.

I'll have to pick up the parts and do it early saturday morning before sprints. What a pain is the arse.
