Probably be a tad far forward still. Trick is to do what I did with mine, cut the stick off about ¼" above the pivot, and weld a piece of flat steel on there then more it to where you like. Also a hint if you're using the Dellows bellhousing: your gearbox will end up on an angle, therefore if you don't cut the stick off, the gearstick ends up pointing horribly to the left...
