Re: HELP! OIL IN INTAKE PIPE

um, the 100kw 4AGE doesn't use a valve as such.
sure there is a breather hose that goes between the inlet plenum and the rocker cover closest to the inlet plenum.
there is also a drain at the back of the head (firewall side) to drain oil from the head back into the block. i'm not aware of there being a valve in any of these applications.
if you're getting excess oil into your inlet manifold, i'd suggest checking what viscosity of oil you are running i had this problem running thicker oils years ago in an old suzuki where it would choke the car to death. when i ran a lighter synthetic it was just fine.
the purpose of the PCV is to take unburnt gases in the head and recirc them back into the inlet tract and re-burn them in the combustion process.
if i play with the PCV system on my TA22 ie: block the hose, i get black smoke coming out of my exhaust in a big way.
there is a way around this - use a catch can - push the dirty oily air into a canister filled with stainless steel gauze, then take the (cleaner) air from the same catch can and put it back into your inlet manifold.
replacing your engine may not rectify the situation, how is your compression by the way? done a leakdown test of late (may be worthwhile checking maybe in fact you are burning oil for example or has your engine been recoed - just a thought)
hope all this helps somehow.
