Sat, 31 January 2004 09:03 to makes sure youre termostatic switches are working properly, dangle them in a pot of water on the stove, multimeter attached. with a thermometer, heat the water up and see where the switches turns on (if at all). you MAY have 3 rooted switches. i understand that if theyre rooted they come on automatically (tho my one doesnt!). check them, and bin them if they dont work. also check the switching function of ALL relays and other switches, and check your earths. also, if you have 2 fans, might i suggest wiring up an independant circuit for each (failsafe against a relay or earth fucking out - and your engine overheating). PLUS - put in an override switch on the dash cheers ed [Report message to a moderator]
