4age idle problem

I'm stumped as to what the problem could be.
Say the car is idles at around 1k, then idle will slowly build up to 1.5 over sat 20 seonds then just drop back to 1. Then do it again over and over. The car is fine when its running but I just want to know where to look to fix this.
Its the 100kw 4age in a 91 seca
