In standard form, the later model ae92's and 101's (the map sensored engines) in stock form have a much better throttle response because they use a small port head.
The AFM motors use the big port head, In stock form they are a bit sluggish off the mark at standard boost, but at a higher boost they are a much better option than the small port MAP motors, as they have much better flow through the head.
I have had a basis of comparison as i have one version and my mate has the other.
