If you've got the EFI gear you'd be nuts not to use it! Sure it'll cost you extra for the ECU, but setting up the carbies will probably end up costing just as much if not more. FWIW you're probably better off with a cheap fuel-only programmable ECU (eg Microtech) rather than bodging up the archaic 18R-GEU ECU to work with boost.
