Ease of setup will be a AE86 EFI tank with EFI pump already in it  all bolts in!
But... people seem to ask crazy prices for AE86 EFI tanks! There was one for sale on the forum and the dude was chasing $500! yah right.
I've heard AE92? pumps fit in the AE86 tank with some small mods, but still means you have no good baffling.
There isn't much room under the AE86 for a lift pump, surge tank, efi pump etc. You can put in engine bay but not such a good idea as the fuel doesn't get much of a chance to cool down. I wouldn't recommend putting surge tanks and junk in the boot, its illegal and smells no matter how well you seal it.
Sorry just throwing ideas around there...
My AE86 currently has a efi pump cable tied to the tank. Definately not ideal but it was a rushed conversion and well its been that way for 2 + years now and never missed a beat.
I think next time i'll try fitting a pump inside the original tank, maybe get some baffling added also.
