I was sick of replacing the front spoiler on my ST162 at $100 a pop, so I thought I should do some more creative thinking.
The problem with my spoiler is that the lower and upper parts are detached from the vertical stubs -- the stubs are too flimsy that it happens too easily. I fixed mine by cutting L shaped bits from the sides of a black plastic container (you may also make small slices of an aluminium L bar, but you'll have to paint them black). I then rivet these to the vertical stubs and the lower and vertical part of the spoiler. Now it's even stronger than the original!
