Forums Junkie Location: Melbourne Registered: May 2002	Re: 3S-GE/GTE into ST162 Wed, 14 August 2002 22:29 my friend in NZ (phil bradshaw) has 3 st165 gt4's - and i can tell you that there is a lot of differences between the fwd st162 - the tunnel and boot pressings are very different - the fuel tank is bigger too. it will not just "bolt up" - easiest and cheapest option would be to buy a st165 - as they are 15 yesrs old now, and can be imported. not easy to find in japan, but the do turn up. you could have one on the road for about $8k, far less than you would spend on the conversion. ps if anyone is interested, i have a st182 celica 3sge engine for sale - with all wiring, ecu etc T [Report message to a moderator]
