ahhh driving home last night after work (1am) in my ae86 after seeing about 3 cops on the way home, i roll into a one way main street just outta the city at a red light. and whats there sitting next to me? a black eg civic, the music blaring out of his carstereo was some rap, sounded like obie trice or something and theres his skank bitch sittin in the suicide seat. ahhhhh here we go ... so anyhow, he looks over at me and revs his little honda engine, hahaha i dont think its even a vtec....and i can hear the rice cannon i saw attached to his stock piping just minutes before. i think to myself... i wonder if those altezza's and type r stickers are gunna be adding the 10hp he thinks they will.... anyhow he revs again, still intent on racing me, so i look over, give him "the nod", and rev the 4A-GE under the bonnet. with the light mods ive done and the HKS exhaust system ive got running, she roars outta the muffler in true toyota fashion. mm i think to myself, im glad i got that new exedy heavy duty clutch in last weekend. so the other light goes orange and hes revving it to around 4 ish grand.. vizzzzzzvizzzzzvizzzz goes his little honda. the other light goes red... he steps it up about 500 revs and gets ready to launch, i hit it up to 4000rpm and the light goes green... (queue the john woo pidgeons flying across here in slow motion for added suspense ) i drop the clutch.... ahhhhhh feel that exedy pressure plate bite, and BAM im off with the added help of my TRD 2 way LSD putting the 150 horses to the ground. to my right i can see outta the corner of my eye the black EG struggling to keep up and the sound of his buzzing muffler ringing out to 7000rpm, he shifts to 2nd, my first gear winds out about 0.5 seconds later at the sound of 7700rpm. clutch in... second gear and jump off the clutch. . the LSD grabs into compression and i get some wheelspin into second. YES! but wait, too much wheelspin!... revs ride up to around 6400 and over it all i can hear the EG's cannon already buzzing into the top of second...hahaha shit...i think hes gaining on me. theres about a car between my lead and his front bumper.. better step on it quick! so i punch it flat into 3rd.. wheelspin again. wooot! didnt spin too much... the eg is behind by about a car length and a half now and were doing around 90kph... hes still going hard and he wants the win.. i floor it 7700rpm up to the end of third, at this point hes almost 2 car lengths behind.. ahaha i think to myself, your nothing now riceboy, give it up! were doing about 120-130 now so i let it off and wind it down waiting for the loser "hazard light flyby". but it never comes and i and stop at the next red light.... the EG stops. the driver fails to make eye contact, his bitch is laughing at him. so he putts off and takes the next right turn... i laugh my ass all the way home...
