jackel Forums Junkie Location: Perth Registered: August 2003	$160 tune up ends up costing $700 (was $1050) Thu, 05 February 2004 11:02 well my friend took his 89 supra into speedworks tuning shop in perth last week for a $160 tune up. so something that should take a day has now taken over 1 week He went to put in a boost cut defender aswell ($190 we had to buy it cause they forgot the order it) and 1 hour on the dyno ($150/hr) so he called them up the next day and they said "um we can't get the boost cut defender working proberly so give us another day" so he did.... couple days later they said one of the spark plug leads "snapped" ? and they said they could order a set of SIX ! which cost $180 and would take a week to order in. So today we went to repco to order them and they said they didn't have any so we ordered some there ($160). 4 Hours later they arrived (bloody quick) so we took them to the place and then what happens, the spark plugs "f*cked up" (ohh yeah) then they say its gonna cost $22.50 for each spark plug (the good ones)... and two hours on the dyno the make sure everything is working proberly. By the end of this i'm like F*CK THIS. So would we need to be calling a laywer of something cause i know all that ain't screwed on his car. He's like he's just gonna pay it cause he wants his car by the end of the week and i'm like hell no!!! [Updated on: Sat, 07 February 2004 20:29] [Report message to a moderator]
