jase Regular Registered: May 2002	Re: Snapped my shaft Thu, 05 February 2004 11:13 I had a loose bolt at the base of my exh manifold (where joins to turbo) and a small gap on either side on the gasket. It sounded (as you put it) like a whipper snipper, and it was the gasket "chattering" back and forth. I was sure it was a stuffed turbo. Slacked all the bolts, retightened and the noise was gone. (A task much easier to type than do!). Was on an mr2 turbo, so is possibly similiiar. [Report message to a moderator]
