to explain further... the banging/rattling is like a knocking which can be felt under the floor when the car is at idle or v low rpm.. but is kinda heard from the front centre... around where the gearbox bellhousing is.
im guessing it would be the extractors, so ill check all those blots and sh!t, and hope that fixes it. i'd say thats it cos the 18RGU does move a fair bit on idle (chugs side to side)
i dont know how to check for it being the bottom end bearing, i dont think its internal since its intermittent and not a regular noise.
All else fails i just dont thrash the car as much.
