I did investigate at the time having the guides re-faced but was told the material was bakerlite and only nylon type guides could be re-faced. I couldnt see why the guides couldnt just be re-faced with nylon, but as I wasn't directly talking to the company I never found out. Maybe another avenue for you to explore.
