speakafreaka Forums Junkie Registered: March 2003	Re: 1JZ-GTE MAP sensor Sat, 07 February 2004 21:23 *deep breath* well.. that what i originally though, but after changing plugs twice, and decreasing the gap i knew it was something else. i had my safc dyno tuned, and they couldnt completely tune it because of the problem, so they started to eliminate possibilities. Coils: fine fuel pressure: fine (then they started thinking it felt like a boost cut) so they looked at the map sensor, but at this point i couldnt afford to pay them anymore.. ($88/hour) so they said it could be the map sensor, so test it. the other thing that worries me is the amount of soot that blows out of the exhaust when i start it.. my dads front bar gets covered in it when i start the car with him parked behind... gives me the impressiong its got some blown seals.. hills motorsport didnt pick it up, but i didnt say anything about it either. theres just so many things that could be causing it its annoying.
