Hey all,
its got to the point now where i'm looking at upgrading my current TT setup on my jza70, an i need to know tech stuff about turbos in order to choose the right option, SO:
Garrett turbo, front AR .42 Rear AR .48 (turbo FS by JapPerParts)
AR? some rating of air flow? or compression? whats AR stand for and whats the numbers equate to in real world?
also any one know of a web site that has some/most turbos and there max HP flow or output. how do i find/work out how soon a turbo will kick in? used to the almost lag free TT setup of the 1j now and i'd like some bigger numbers with minimal gain to lag.
been thinking also why the F&%$ i dont just get an exhaust mani custom made? any reasons? custom headers arn't really that expensive, so is there another reason? better internal flow? hold pressure better? ect? will it need blue printing? are the stock mani's even flowed or blue printed?
And if i do go custom setup i would like to go Twin again (similar to the current setup, ie parallel) if room permits, what turbos should i be looking at that can get 350 rwkw easily? and with least lag?
i hope u can excuse the stupidity contained above and just dish out straight answers for me.
also anyone with any experince with a perticular turbo is more the welcome to comment on its effectiveness, ect!
