doing whatever you can yourself will save you about $100 an hour 
but if you can afford to pay and play..
cheapest i've heard for a "drive in-drive out" conversion is around $1800, for labour alone. i doubt you will get any cheaper than that. you will hear rumours of anywhere bwteen $1000 and 5000 or more just for labour and it really pays to find someone who has done it, done it well, and isn't going to rip you off. pretty hard ask these days
or you could learn to do it yourself and use that money for beer, or a front mount, or a turbo etc
