I think I might be better replacing valve stem seals and using the thinner stuff as you say, to reduce oil consumption. Direct acting cams will make this a bit of a prick I guess, the one time you would rather rockers. I'll attack this job when I'm ambitious. I think the rings are OK as compression was really high (hopefully not due to carbon buildup ). I just bought a 4AFE powered AE94 for my gf (helped her pick one I should say) with 200k on it so I'm hoping these are robust motors also. Anybody know how they compare to a 4AGE in terms of longelivity? Cant complain about my GE [Report message to a moderator]
