Yes, you can use an RA60 cross-member, or an MA61, externally the later model W58's are exactly the same (bar the weird shifter).
As for the clutch, I know when I'm playing out of my depth, so I spoke to the guys at the Clutch Factory (Kewdale?) and they made a recommendation for me based on power, weight of the car and my driving style. In the end they quoted me $420 for an 30% uprated pressure plate, a heavy duty Daikin clutch plate, a new thrust bearing and machining the flywheel.
