With any spacer larger then 5 mm i need longer bolts as when i tried 10 mm spacers there as no thread to bolt anything safely on to

You can buy longer stud's from any store, the one's I got were 2" longer than standard, so just cut them down to suit. I'm only running a 12mm spacer. Usually denoted by an extra '0' on the end of the stud type number. ie standard stud number was NS340, the longer ones were NS3400.
