you've answered your own question there.
better the devil you know. you might go and get a 100kw motor from SSS and it may be worse than yours!
depends what you can do shop around on here or twincam and find someone with a 100kw head, get a VRS kit, send the head away get it recoed with new stem seals get it cleaned up a bit - get the machinist to setup the shims again too (unless you're keen and have access to alot of shims) and put it all back together yourself? its not a hard job you just need to think clearly through whats gotta be done.
it makes it much harder if its a daily driver though.
