, i must have been doing it wrong all these years... no point pumping the pedal if fluid is not going into the lines... once it starts in there, you can pump away, but pressurising the line by pumping lots can introduce bubbles...
one of the best methods is actually to use vacuum to draw fluid thru the entire line before pumping...
