i think the car should be at the ride height when driving, as this is when you want the axle to be centrally aligned... maybe with 1/2 to full tank of fuel?
ideally the panhard rod will be near horizontal at this ride height to minimise lateral deflection during bump and rebound.
umm, maybe put the front on ramps, and the back with stands under the axle (so suspension is compressed and car is level)
you'll be wanting to check the the axle is laterally located at the correct position (maybe with reference to chassis rails?).
please feel free to coreect me if i am wrong just wanted to get the ball rolling..
