First step to becoming a sik dorifto monkey is to learn how to drive. Forget the car, it's all about your skill behind the wheel. No skill = no drift + lots of crashing. Take your bone-stock car to a skidpan day with competant instructors, you'll be amazed at how little you know and how much you can learn!
Once you have some idea what you're doing, you might want to improve your car's drifting abilities, and you acheive this by making it horribly unbalanced. In a nutshell, you want to make the back end uber-stiff (ie big mofo swaybar and harshly valved shocks) while leaving the front end relatively compliant. You'll also want to drop the ride height a couple of inches as RA23's are ridiculously high. Finally, get ready to fork out big bucks for an LSD or if you're a dodgy bastard just weld up the stock diff (don't expect it to last long though).
A panda paint job and Japanese characters painted on the bonnet are strictly optional, but well favoured among the poser set.
Enjoy!
