Mechanically everything bolts in with no modifications at all. The AE10x & AE11x chassis are virtually identical except for the radiator support frame & body panels. Electronically, it can be tricky depending on how experience you are with electric diagrams & concepts. What I'd done with mine was simple, I simply separated the 7A-FE & 4A-GE engine loom from their respective body looms. The 4A-GE loom then went into the AE102 body loom. You would require a 4AGE 20v ecu wiring diagram (available on the net), an AE111 wiring book (from Toyota), patience, concentration & a few days. Doing this way also kept everything looking original & clean. I recommend getting a complete 20v Blacktop front cut with 30-60k KM. And if you're lucky you might find one with the 6spd box! You'd also need the aircon & power-steering from the front-cut as the one from the AE112 is not compatible with the 4AGE. If spending $3.5k to $5k to do the conversion is not a problem, I would definitely recommend it. The extra power & revs from the 4AGE is something to be enjoyed. Cheers...
