concentrate on the circuit between the ignition switch and the MAIN and EFI relays..
on a KE70 i saw recently (we wired it up from carb to EFI) the IGN from the key went to the MAIN relay coil, and the switched output of the MAIN relay went to the coil of the EFI relay.
in the ignition switch there are two seperate circuits, but i think it is after there you have a problem...
check that the main and EFI relay 'unlatch' by powering them up seperately, WITH a load on them (like light bulb). if your wiring is intact, i would guess that they are latching on...
OR as Hemi215 said, the output of one relay is feeding back to the input of another... for it all to stay on, the main relay has to be powered (or the EFI? check the wiring diagram), so if you find the source of this power, problem solved...
or it's a dodgy relay....
hmm, no bits of cut off wire floating around the fuse/relay box? no shorts anywhere? have fun
