i recon u have an exposed power wire
pushing everything back maybe earhted it out
check the cig fuse
this usually runs cig and radio
and if its blown then do yr wiring nice and neatly
and use good tape
another thing that could have happened is one section of cig lighter might have touched earth and blown fuse
