batesy Regular Location: Adelaide Registered: May 2002	Re: Wanted: early 2TG head Sun, 18 August 2002 07:48 Hey Rob Well my head IS exactly the same BUT, as you can see in that pic the dome's are circle....As with my head it isnt. I'll take a picture of it one day and you will know what i'm talking about but on my head it doesnt have that circle dome it has an off center one, So on my 3T pistons i have shave 10 mm (or so) off the dome on the piston (in doing this it has to match my head which is off center by 10mm or so) I just thought it would be easy in finding a different head which already has the circle domes and it wont cost me $200 od bucks in shaving them pistons... Also everyone keeps telling me with the 2TG heads you should be able to whack the 3T pistons in and you wont have any trouble except the exhaust relief valve bit. Anyways i hope people understand what i'm going on about..if not i'll try and get a picture of the head and i'll show you what i mean Anyways still after another head i guess i could switch the cams in my head with the new head i get?
